TVS Unveils Apache RTX 300 at Auto Expo 2025
TVS has unveiled its much-awaited adventure bike, the TVS Apache RTX 300, at the Auto Expo 2025. Powered by the new RT-X4D engine, which was first introduced at MotoSoul 2024, this bike is set to make a strong impact in the adventure bike segment.
Design and Styling
The Apache RTX 300 features a road-biased ADV design, with a large headlight, tall windscreen, and half-fairing setup. Its muscular appearance gives it a robust and aggressive look, reminiscent of the higher-capacity Ducati Multistrada bikes.
Engine and Performance
The bike is powered by a 300cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder RT-X4D engine, producing 35PS at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm at 7,000rpm. Compared to the RR 310’s 312cc engine, the Apache RTX 300 is expected to deliver a more linear power output, making it easier to handle, especially for beginners and off-road riders.
Chassis and Suspension
The Apache RTX 300 is built on a trellis frame and features an inverted fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock suspension. It sports a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup, which suits its road-biased adventure nature. The bike is equipped with disc brakes at both ends for efficient braking performance.
Expected Launch and Pricing
TVS is expected to launch the Apache RTX 300 by the end of 2025, with an estimated price of Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with other adventure bikes in the 250cc to 300cc segment, including the Yezdi Adventure and KTM 250 Adventure. With its stunning design, solid features, and balanced performance, the TVS Apache RTX 300 stands out as a promising road-biased adventure bike. It is ideal for long-distance touring with decent off-road capability, making it a great option for adventure enthusiasts.
