UGC NET December 2024 Results Announced

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results for UGC NET December 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download their scorecards from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The final answer key has also been released.
UGC NET December 2024 Exam Details
The UGC NET December 2024 exam took place from January 3 to January 27 across 558 exam centers in 266 cities. A total of 6,49,490 candidates appeared for the exam, which was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. Out of the 8,49,166 candidates who registered, the following results were announced:
- 5,158 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship.
- 48,161 candidates qualified for Assistant Professorship.

Steps to Download UGC NET Result and Answer Key
To check your UGC NET result and download the final answer key, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in
- Click on the link for UGC NET Answer Key or Results.
- Enter your application number and date of birth, then click submit.
- The final answer key and result will appear as a PDF.
- Download and save the result for future reference.
Scoring and Evaluation
Each question in the exam carried two marks. Candidates were awarded two marks for every correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect or un-attempted answers. The results are based on the final answer key, and there will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of the exam papers.

UGC NET Validity and Re-evaluation Policy
The UGC NET December 2024 result will be available for 90 days from the announcement date. Please note that no re-evaluation or re-checking of the answers will be entertained.
UGC NET is conducted twice a year, in June and December, for the appointment of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professorship, and admissions to PhD programs.
