Oppo F29 Series: Launch Details, Features, and Expected Price
Oppo is set to launch its F29 series in India on March 20, 2025, after the success of last year’s F27 series. The new smartphones promise improvements in both durability and performance. Here’s everything we know so far.
Design and Durability
The Oppo F29 series will be built to withstand tough conditions. The phones feature a 360-degree Armour Body that has passed over 14 military-grade durability tests. Oppo claims that the phones are IP66, IP68, and IP69 rated, meaning they are highly resistant to dust and water. They can survive water jets and even be submerged in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.
The F29 series is also sleek and lightweight, weighing around 180 grams and measuring 7.55mm thick. The frame is made from aerospace-grade aluminium, making it 10% stronger than the previous model. It has a special Sponge Bionic Cushioning to absorb shocks, and the Raised Corner Design offers extra protection. The camera lens is also shielded by a tough glass Lens Protection Ring.
Battery and Performance
Under the hood, the Oppo F29 will feature a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Oppo has also teased a 300% network boost, which is expected to improve connectivity in challenging environments.

Although Oppo has not officially announced the price of the F29 series, leaks suggest the Oppo F29 will be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 in India. The F29 Pro will come in Marble White and Granite Black, while the F29 will be available in Solid Purple and Glacier Blue.
