Nawazuddin also noted that the industry isn’t united, with certain groups staying apart from the rest. He pointed out, “In our industry, untrained actors are often given big roles, while other industries only allow professional, trained actors to take on serious roles.” He believes that this trend harms the industry, as real talent and skill are often overlooked in favor of other factors. His criticism sheds light on a serious issue that continues to plague Bollywood.

Despite his concerns about the industry’s flaws, Nawazuddin Siddiqui remains committed to working in films that tell powerful, meaningful stories. He was recently seen in Costao, a crime drama based on the real-life story of Costao Fernandes, a Goa customs officer who risked everything to stop a major gold smuggling racket. Nawazuddin’s portrayal of this courageous man added depth to the film. Looking ahead, he’s reportedly shooting in Lucknow for the sequel to Raat Akeli Hai, where he will reprise his role as Inspector Jatil Yadav. His commitment to strong, impactful roles shows that he continues to choose films that resonate with audiences, despite the challenges he faces in the industry.
