Owaisi Calls Pakistan a Failed State in Bahrain

AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, part of an all-party Indian delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda, strongly criticised Pakistan during a meeting with top officials in Bahrain. He referred to Pakistan as a “failed state” and blamed it for terrorism in India.
India Sent Delegation to Show the Terror Threat
Owaisi said that the Indian government had sent them abroad to show the world the serious threat India has faced for many years. “We have lost many innocent lives. This problem is coming only from Pakistan. Unless Pakistan stops helping, supporting, and funding terrorist groups, the issue will not go away,” he said.
India Will Respond Strongly if Provoked Again
He further added, “Our government has taken all steps to protect Indians. It has clearly said that if Pakistan tries anything again, the response will be stronger than what they expect.”

Pahalgam Attack Shows Human Tragedy of Terrorism
Owaisi reminded people of the Pahalgam attack that happened on April 22, where 26 tourists were killed. He spoke about the emotional pain behind these numbers. “A woman who got married just six days earlier became a widow. Another woman lost her husband after only two months of marriage,” he shared.
India’s Defence Capabilities Are Strong
Owaisi said that India’s air defence system and military have successfully stopped threats from across the border. “Our technology and systems intercepted and neutralised everything launched by a failed state like Pakistan,” he added.
Stop Terror Funding – Bring Pakistan Back to FATF Grey List
He requested the Bahrain government to help bring Pakistan back to the FATF grey list. “There is unity in India, no matter our political differences, when it comes to national security. Terrorists are being funded by this money and that must be stopped,” he said.
Religion Cannot Be Used to Justify Terrorism
Owaisi also strongly condemned how some terrorist groups misuse religion. “These people wrongly quote Quranic verses to justify killing innocent people. Islam never allows this. The Quran clearly says killing one innocent is like killing all of humanity,” he said.
He added that there is no difference between the Pahalgam attackers and ISIS in Syria.
Delegation’s Mission: Show India’s Stand on Terror
The Indian delegation includes MPs from different parties: Baijayant Panda, Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Satnam Singh Sandhu, Ghulam Nabi Azad, and Asaduddin Owaisi, along with Ambassador Harsh Shringla.
They are visiting countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria to explain India’s position on cross-border terrorism and the recent Pahalgam attack. The goal is to counter false information and highlight India’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.
