Paresh Rawal Steps Away from Hera Pheri 3, Returns Advance Payment

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially stepped down from the upcoming film Hera Pheri 3, creating a buzz in the film industry. As per reports from Bollywood Hungama, he has returned the signing amount of ₹11 lakhs to the producers. Along with this, he also paid 15% interest per year and added some extra amount as a goodwill gesture to settle everything peacefully. A source confirmed, “Paresh Rawal has returned ₹11 lakhs with 15% interest and even added a little more money for quitting the film.”
Reason Behind Paresh Rawal’s Exit
According to sources, Paresh was promised a total fee of ₹15 crore for Hera Pheri 3. However, the agreement had a special clause: after receiving ₹11 lakhs as advance, the remaining ₹14.89 crore would only be paid a month after the film’s release. As the film’s shooting is now scheduled for next year, and the release may happen in late 2026 or even 2027, Paresh Rawal decided not to wait for such a long time for his full payment. That’s why he chose to exit from the film.
Legal Trouble After Exit
His exit has reportedly led to legal issues. Akshay Kumar’s production company is said to be taking legal action against Paresh Rawal and is demanding compensation of ₹25 crore for damages caused due to his departure from the project.

His timing and performance were key highlights of the franchise. After his exit, many people from the industry, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and director Priyadarshan, reacted to the news and expressed their thoughts.
