Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Oath Taking LIVE:
Rekha Gupta, a first-time MLA from Shalimar Bagh, will be sworn in as Delhi’s Chief Minister today in a grand ceremony at Ramlila Ground. She is the fourth woman to hold the position in Delhi. The BJP, after 27 years, is forming the government in Delhi, having won 48 out of 70 seats in the Legislative Assembly.

Along with Rekha Gupta, BJP MLAs Parvesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Raviraj Indraj Singh, Kapil Mishra, and Pankaj Kumar Singh will take their oaths as ministers.
Rekha Gupta announced that the first payment under the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, ₹2,500 per month for women, will be credited to their bank accounts by March 8.
The suspense over Delhi’s next CM ended on Wednesday when BJP MLAs elected Rekha Gupta as their leader. She met Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to stake her claim to form the new government.

Key Details of the Oath-Taking Ceremony:
- The ceremony will begin at 11 am and conclude by 1 pm. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena will administer the oaths to the Chief Minister and Cabinet ministers.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, several BJP Chief Ministers, and other party leaders will be present.
- Around 30,000 guests have been invited, including RSS leaders, spiritual gurus, industrialists, celebrities, Laddli Bahanas, auto drivers, and farmers from Delhi.
- The outgoing Delhi CM, Atishi, and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal will also be invited as per protocol.
- Over 25,000 security personnel and 15 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed for security across Delhi. Commandos, quick reaction teams, PCR vans, SWAT teams, and snipers have been positioned at strategic locations.
